At the tender age of 4 Ray'Shanna Raysor performed her one woman talent show at Christmas dinner for her entire family, since that moment she has never left the spotlight. This 21 year old D.C. Native is the essential essence of a Triple Threat! Not only is Ray'Shanna a dedicated and riveting actress she has created her alter ego as pop songstress/dancer "Roxy Heart".
As Roxy, Ray hopes to gain a voice amongst her generation to promote equality, long life and rockin good times! With her fresh D.C sound and girl next door lyrics, Roxy reminds us of a young Janet Jackson with the home- girl essence of the late pop diva Aaliyah. Ray has received majority of her training at the Duke Ellington School of the performing Arts located in her hometown D.C. During the 4 years there she studied Musical Theatre along with her high school standard academic requirements.
Ray also attended Rowan University in South New Jersey where she was on the University's Dance Team and a recurring talent in the Theatre Departments main stage productions. After years of crowd-cheering theatre performances Ray'Shanna is looking toward making her appearance on the big screen so be on the look-out and as for Roxy Heart well ....stay tuned.
